End of Life for Web Editor
After December 2020, it will no longer be possible to use Web Editor since Adobe will retire Flash. You can of course still edit and create projects with the RoomSketcher App. The RoomSketcher App gives you access to better usability, new features, and other helpful upgrades. Switch to the app now! This article describes the behavior for Web Editor. If you work with the RoomSketcher App, you won't run into this issue. Here is how you Share a RoomSketcher Project with the App.
With RoomSketcher, you can share your projects with others by sharing a Project Presentation which includes 2D and 3D Floor Plans, Live 3D, and a list of project furniture. Plus, it has a button to allow the person you shared with to open a copy of the project in the RoomSketcher app on their computer or tablet (since it’s a copy of the project, the person you share with can try it out without changing your original project).
How to Fix the “You Don't Have Access to this Project” Message
If you tried to share a project but the recipient sees a message “You don't have access to the project, it is marked private by the owner”, this is due to the way you shared the project. You should not copy the URL that appears at the top of the page when you are working in our classic RoomSketcher Web Editor, as most projects are set to Private by default.
The preferred way to share a project is to send a Project Presentation link. This ensures that the sharing settings on the project will be set correctly. See Share a RoomSketcher Project to learn how.
