You can raise or lower an area within a room, or adjust the floor height of an entire room. Watch the final part of the video below — it starts at the relevant point — or follow the step-by-step instructions below.

To change the floor height

1. Open a Project in the RoomSketcher App.
2. Open Walls mode (click or tap the red mode button and then click Walls).
3. Click the Select tool and click on the room or area that will have a higher or lower floor height. 
   Tip: If you need to create an area (or part of a room), use the Divider tool to place a divider line across the room in the location where the floor height will change.
   
   
   
   
4. With the room or area selected, click Advanced Properties on the right.
   
   
   
   
5. Type the Floor Height (either a positive or negative number).
6. Use the camera to take a snapshot to see your new floor height.

Tip: You can also use this method to create stairs that are not included among the predefined types – for example, single-step stairs.
