How Do I Delete a Wall?

It's easy to delete a wall in the RoomSketcher App. Simply follow these two steps:

1. Select the item you want to delete. 
   
   
   
   
2. Click the trash symbol in the top menu or press Delete (Windows) / fn+backspace (Mac) on your keyboard.
   
   

Tip

Should the trash symbol be greyed out, although you have selected the wall, the wall is most likely locked. To unlock the wall, go to Properties on the right and toggle Lock off. 

Can I Highlight a Wall instead of Deleting It?

Sometimes you may want to draw attention to a wall — for example, if it should be torn down or if it’s a load-bearing wall. In this case, you don’t need to delete it. Instead, you can highlight the wall.

Here’s how you can do it:

1. Select the wall.
2. Open Advanced Properties on the right side. 
3. Click Wall Top Color and choose a color.
