- Move around until you find the angle you want (for detailed navigation tips, please see Live 3D from Web Portal).

The AI Render usually takes just a few seconds to create.
Tips for Great AI Renders
- Start with a clear, well-framed 3D view.
- Try different camera angles to find the best result.
- Use Flyover Mode for full-room views.
- Use 1st Person Mode for realistic interior views.
- Create several renders and choose the one you like best.
Since each render costs only 0.10 Credits, you can try different views and formats until you get the image you want.
How Can I Create an AI Render from a Snapshot or 3D Photo?
You can also create an AI Render from an existing 3D Photo or snapshot in your project.
- Open your project in the RoomSketcher Web Portal.
- Click More in the top right corner.
- Click Media Gallery.
- Click the 3D Photo or snapshot you want to use.
- Click AI Render in the top right corner.
If you haven't created a snapshot or 3D Photo yet, why not explore the RoomSketcher App and do it now? You can find detailed steps here: How Can I Take Snapshots and 3D Photos?
How Can I Create an AI Render from a 3D Floor Plan?
You can create an AI Render from an existing 3D Floor Plan in your project.
- Open your project in the RoomSketcher Web Portal.
- Click Floor Plans.
- Open the generated 3D Floor Plan you want to use.
-
Click AI Render in the top right corner.
How Can I Try a Different Style?
After creating an AI Render, you can use a pre-made style to give the image a new look.
-
Create an AI Render.
Or open a saved AI Render and click AI Edit in the top right. - In the Edit Image panel on the right, select Styles.
- Choose on of the available styles.
- Click Generate.
AI Render creates a new version of the image using the selected style. Your previous version remains available in the image list at the bottom, so you can compare the results or return to an earlier version.
Tip: Styles are useful when you want to quickly explore a completely different look without describing every detail yourself.
When you apply a style, only the AI-generated image is changed. Your RoomSketcher project remains unchanged. To permanently change the project, edit it in the RoomSketcher App.
How Can I Change an AI Render With a Text Prompt?
Use a text prompt when you want to make a specific change to an existing AI Render. For example, you can change:
- Wall colors, flooring and materials
- Furniture, curtains and decorations
- Lighting, the weather or atmosphere
- The overall interior style
- People or other objects in the scene
To edit an AI Render:
-
Create an AI Render.
Or open a saved AI Render and click AI Edit in the top right. - In the Edit Image panel, click Text Prompt.
- Describe the change you want to make.
- Click Generate.
AI Render creates a new version based on your instructions.
For example:
Replace the orchid on the table with a fruit bowl. Keep everything else the same.
When you apply a style, only the AI-generated image is changed. Your RoomSketcher project remains unchanged. To permanently change the project, edit it in the RoomSketcher App.
Tips for Writing a Good Prompt
- Be clear about what you want to change and what the result should look like.
- Short text works best.
- Start with one change, then build on it with new AI renders.
- Describe exactly where the item is located that you want to change, especially if there are several similar objects. For example, write "change the wall behind the sofa" or "replace the orchid on the table" instead of referring only to "the wall" or "the plant."
- Include useful details such as colors, materials, finishes, and quantities.
- Add "Keep everything else the same" when you do not want other parts of the image to change.
See our AI Render Prompt Guide and Inspiration for more tips and example prompts. The guide includes advice on writing specific prompts, changing one element at a time, using interior styles, and working with reference images.
The Prompt Guide is also linked from the little bulb icon within the prompt text field.
How Can I Upload a Reference Image?
You can include an image with your text prompt. This is useful when you want AI Render to use a specific piece of furniture, material, pattern, color, or design as a reference.
-
Create an AI Render.
Or open a saved AI Render and click AI Edit in the top right. - In the Edit Image panel, click Text Prompt.
- Click the image upload icon within the prompt field.
- Select an image from your device.
- Write what you want AI Render to do with the reference image.
- Click Generate.
For example:
Replace all dining chairs with the chair from the uploaded image. Match its design, proportions, material, finish, and color. Keep everything else unchanged.
Tip: Explain exactly which item in the room should be changed and which details from the reference image should be used.
Review, Save, and Download the AI Render
When the render is ready, you will see a before-and-after view. Use the slider to compare the original Live 3D image, snapshot, 3D Photo, or 3D Floor Pan and the new AI Render.
When you create additional versions using a style or text prompt, they appear in the image list at the bottom. Click a thumbnail to view and compare a previous version.
When you are happy with the result, use the buttons on the bottom to:
-
Download the image to your device.
-
Save the image to your project media gallery.
-
Delete the render if you do not want to keep it.
Saved AI Renders are stored in the AI Renders section of your project's media gallery, together with your other project media.
