AI Render turns a RoomSketcher 3D visual into a photorealistic image. After creating your first AI Render, you can use text prompts and reference images to explore different furniture, materials, colors, and design ideas.

This is a great way to explore how a specific furniture item, material, wallpaper, flooring, or color could look in your design.

AI Render is available for all users in the RoomSketcher Web Portal.

How Can I Use My Own Furniture or Material?

Upload a reference image when you want to see how a particular piece of furniture, material, pattern, or decorative item could look in your room.

1. Open your project in web portal.
2. Create or open an AI Render.
   • You can do this either from a snapshot, 3D Photo, Live 3D or 3D Floor Plan.

3. Under Edit Image, select Text Prompt.
4. Click the image upload icon in the text filed.
5. Select an image from your device.
6. Describe what you want to change.
7. Click Generate.

For example:

Replace the sofa and armchair with the sofa from the uploaded image. Match its design, material, finish, and color. Keep everything else the same.

Tip: Clearly identify the item you want to replace. For example, write “replace the armchair beside the window” instead of only “replace the chair.”

How Can I Describe My Furniture or Material with Text?

You do not need to upload an image. You can also describe the furniture, material, or other change in a text prompt.

1. Create or open an AI Render.
   • You can do this either from a snapshot, 3D Photo, Live 3D or 3D Floor Plan.

2. Under Edit Image, select Text Prompt.
3. Describe the change you want to make.
4. Click Generate.

For example:

Add a round marble coffee table in front of the sofa. Keep everything else unchanged.

Or:

Replace the white wood on the kitchen cabinets and the window with warm walnut. Keep everything else the same.

Does AI Render Change My RoomSketcher Project?

AI Render creates a new image but does not change your RoomSketcher project, floor plan or 3D image.

The furniture or material will appear only in the generated image. It will not be added to your project as an editable 3D item.
 

Can I Upload Furniture or Materials to the RoomSketcher App?

No, you cannot upload your own furniture, materials, or products to the RoomSketcher App as reusable items.

Instead, browse the RoomSketcher library for a similar option. The library includes more than 5,000 furniture items and more than 2,000 materials. Furniture can be resized, and many items can be customized with Replace Materials on a paid plan.

To visualize a specific product that is not available in the library, create an AI Render and use either a reference image or a detailed text prompt.
