  5. Choose the number of Levels (floors) for the project.
  6. For Furnishing, you can choose:
    • Fully Furnished: Furniture is added based on room names. For example, bedrooms include beds, living rooms have sofas, and bathrooms contain standard fixtures.
    • Furnished As Indicated: The floor plan includes furniture and fixed installations only where drawn on the blueprint. Kitchen and bathroom items are included only if they are shown on the blueprint.
    • Unfurnished: Includes doors, windows, and stairs, as well as kitchen and bathroom—but only if these are indicated on the blueprint. No other furniture is added.
  7. Check Outside Measurements if you would like outside wall measurements printed on your 2D Floor Plans.
  8. Click Next. The Blueprints tab opens.

Step 2: Upload a Blueprint for Your Floor Plan Order

In this step, you’ll upload your blueprint or sketch so that RoomSketcher can create professional floor plans for you. Make sure the file is ready and saved on the device you're using to place the order.

For tips on how to prepare your blueprint for best results, check out our Blueprint Preparation Tips.

  1. On the Blueprints tab, type a Level Name (for example, Floor 1), or use the default.

Note: If your blueprint is part of a multi-page PDF, first type the page number containing the blueprint, then upload the PDF. We will only receive the page that you specified.
(If your PDF just has a single page, you can leave this field blank.)

Each blueprint must contain all the necessary details (such as measurements and layout). Additional documents cannot be uploaded; everything must be visible within the blueprint itself.

Tip: Customers with a Team subscription can leave a comment on each ordered level.

  2. Click Upload Blueprint.
  3. Navigate to the blueprint, select it, and click Open.
  4. When you see your blueprint has been uploaded, click Next. The Order Summary tab opens.
Tip: Click the thumbnail to double check that you uploaded the correct blueprint.

Step 3: Choose Options for Your Floor Plan Order

On the Order Summary tab, review order options and the cost of each. Pro and Team subscribers get flexible order options and can choose if they want to include:

  • Share Live 3D Floor Plans: This allows you to share Live 3D links with your clients, friends, or family.
  • 3D Floor Plans: Pro and Team subscribers can uncheck this option to exclude generated 3D Floor Plans from the project.

Step 4: Place Your Floor Plan Order

  1. Once you have reviewed the order, click Place Order.
  2. An order confirmation will appear on the screen as a green box with the message: Thank you for your order. You will receive an email when your floor plans are ready.
