After ordering a floor plan from RoomSketcher, you can check the order status in your web portal. Once your order is finished, you will also receive an email notification.
How Do I Check My Order?
- Sign in to your web portal at app.roomsketcher.com.
- Click My projects.
-
Find your project in the list and check the Type column.
What Do the Order Types Mean?
When you check your order status, you’ll see one of three order types:
Each type shows the current stage of your order. See the explanations below to understand what each one means and what to do next.
Completed Order
If the Type shows Completed Order, your floor plan is finished and ready to use.
You can now:
- Download and print your floor plans
- Make edits yourself in the RoomSketcher App
- Request a correction if something is incorrect (available within 14 days after placing the order)
You will also receive an automatic email from us with the subject "Your Floor Plans are Complete: Order name". If you don’t see it, make sure to check your spam folder.
Even without the email, you can always access your completed order directly in your web portal.
In Progress
- If the Type shows In Progress, your order is currently being worked on.
-
Orders are typically completed within 24 business hours.
Update Blueprint
If the Type shows Update Blueprint, it means we were unable to create a floor plan from your uploaded blueprint.
To fix this:
- Click the project with type Update blueprint.
- A new window opens. At the top, you’ll see a comment from our illustrators explaining the issue.
- Review your uploaded blueprint.
- Click Update Blueprint to upload a new or improved version.
Team subscribers can also upload an additional reference image and add a comment.
Good to know
- You will receive an automated email asking you to review the order.
- Our customer service team may contact you with further instructions.
- If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder.
Why Was My Blueprint Rejected?
A blueprint may be rejected for several reasons, for example:
- Missing measurements needed for scaling
- Not a floor plan (e.g. roof plan or elevation drawing)
- Image is blurry or unclear
- Photo is taken at an angle (skewed)
- Multiple floor plans are shown, but it’s unclear which one to use
If your order needs an update, simply upload a clearer and more complete blueprint and our illustrators will keep working on it.
