What Window Types Can I Choose From?
RoomSketcher offers many popular window styles, both with and without muntins (the dividers that hold separate panes of glass). This makes it easy to match your design, whether you’re creating a classic home, a modern office, or anything in between.
Casement Windows
A casement window is hinged to its frame on the side, so it swings open like a door.
Double-Hung Windows
Double-hung windows have two vertical sliding sashes that move up and down.
Sliding Windows
Sliding windows have panels that open by gliding horizontally along a track.
Fixed Windows
Fixed windows don’t open — they’re designed to let in light and showcase views. In RoomSketcher, you’ll also find fixed windows in special shapes, such as sloping, round, diamond-shaped, and arched styles.

Where Do I Find Skylights?
To add skylights to your project, follow the steps below.
- Open Furniture mode

feature to find Skylights

This usually happens if the window is too long. Make sure the window is shorter than the wall you’re placing it on, and then try again.
