If you use the RoomSketcher App on an iPad, you may occasionally experience issues when signing in or typing. This can happen when using iPad features such as AutoFill Passwords or an external keyboard.
These issues do not affect all iPads or accessories, but the tips below can help you get back to work quickly.
Sign In Button Is Disabled When Using AutoFill Passwords
On some iPads, the Sign In button may stay disabled if you use the iPad AutoFill Passwords feature to enter your RoomSketcher password.
This can happen because AutoFill may not activate the password field in the same way as typing the password manually. The feature may also work differently depending on your iPad model, iPadOS version, and settings.
How to Fix It
- Delete the autofilled password from the password field.
- Type your password manually.
- Tap Sign In.
If the issue continues, you can also try turning off AutoFill Passwords on your iPad, then open the RoomSketcher App and sign in again.
Can’t Type When Using an External Keyboard
Some users have reported that they can’t type in the RoomSketcher App when using an iPad with an external keyboard.
This issue applies only to some iPads and does not affect all external keyboards — many work as expected.
How to Fix It
- Disconnect the external keyboard from your iPad.
- Use the iPad’s on-screen keyboard instead.
You can reconnect the external keyboard later to check if it works again.
