What Types of Measurements Can I Show on My Floor Plans?
In the RoomSketcher App, you can choose from a variety of measurement options depending on what you want to highlight:
- Room Area in Square Feet/Square Meters
- Room Dimensions (Pro and Team)
- Inside Wall Lengths (Pro and Team)
- Outside Wall Lengths (Pro and Team)
- Single Wall Measurements (Pro and Team)

How Can I Show the Room Area in Square Feet or Square Meters?
You can display the area of any room in either square feet or square meters – whichever you prefer. It'll look like this:

How Can I Show Room Dimensions? (Available for Pro and Team)
If you want to show the width and length of a room, often called X and Y dimensions, you can! It will look like this:
You can even display these in both feet and meters at the same time in, like this:
- To achieve the above example, go to the Measurement Wizard Settings in the RoomSketcher App, enable Dimensions - Use both Measuring Units, and then use the Room Dimensions Wizard to add them. For detailed steps, see Measurement Wizard Settings.
How Can I Show the Inside Wall Lengths? (Available for Pro and Team)
You can show the inside lengths of your walls directly on your 2D Floor Plans. This is a great way to make sure everything fits just right. Here’s how it can look:
